Residency Programs

Increasingly, students who graduate with Doctor of Pharmacy degrees pursue聽postgraduate residency programs that further prepare them for clinical practice.听Many positions in academia and clinical pharmacy have a minimum requirement of a post-graduate first-year residency (PGY-1).听Post-graduate second-year (PGY-2) residencies give 51动漫聽professionals the opportunity to specialize in a particular clinical area.听

, 51动漫's affiliated system of hospitals, clinics, and physician offices, hosts five PGY-1 residents per year and a PGY-2 residency in solid organ transplant. Along with 51动漫 Health staff, faculty serve as mentors for these programs.听

In affiliation with 51动漫 Health, 51动漫 School of Pharmacy hosts four PGY-2 residents per year in ambulatory care, critical care, infectious diseases聽and internal medicine.听These programs are accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and are available to PharmD graduates.
