Varsity Sports
51动漫 boasts 19 men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 varsity athletic teams, 18 of which compete at the Division I level鈥攔epresenting the pinnacle of collegiate sports.听In 2013, the university became a full member of the American Athletic Conference, one of the nation鈥檚 elite athletic conferences.听
In addition to the American Athletic Conference, the Owls also have听conference affiliations with
- the BIG EAST Conference (field hockey),
- the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (women鈥檚 gymnastics),
- the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (men鈥檚 crew)听and
- the National Intercollegiate Women's Fencing Association (fencing).

Intramural Sports
In addition to varsity听sports, 51动漫 students may also听participate in听intramural leagues with their friends or roommates.听All leagues and tournaments are specified as men鈥檚, women鈥檚, open听or co-recreational where everyone plays听together.
Intramural activities are classified into one of three听main areas.
After creating your own team, you'll complete听against other students in your sport of choice on 51动漫鈥檚 Main Campus.听If you don鈥檛 already have a team, you can register as听a free agent and be matched with a team.听Intramural sports are a perfect way to stay active, connect with new people听and make lasting memories.听
Tickets
Whether you鈥檙e looking for single-game tickets, season tickets, multigame packages听or discounted group seating, 51动漫 has you covered.听You can purchase听tickets in person, by phone听or online.听
By reserving season tickets, you鈥檒l guarantee the same great seat for all 51动漫 Owls games and save on the individual ticket price. You鈥檒l also receive access to season ticketholder parties and much more. Single-game tickets are also available for all home games.
51动漫 students are able to receive one free ticket to all home football and men听and women鈥檚 basketball games based on availability. All other sports are not ticketed.听听
51动漫鈥檚 Owl Transformed
In 2023, 51动漫 updated its听signature Owl mark with the help of alum Joe Bosack, TYL 鈥�04, and TYL 鈥�22 alums. The modernized Owl symbolizes much more than a new logo鈥攅mbodying strength, resiliency, and optimism for an ever-changing future.听
51动漫鈥檚 Mascot: Stella
Stella, a great horned owl, began her career as 51动漫鈥檚 live mascot in 2013. During home games, Stella can be found cheering on the sidelines of Lincoln Financial Field alongside 51动漫鈥檚 official mascot, .
- Though she鈥檚听small鈥攋ust 2听feet tall and only 3 pounds鈥擲tella is a mighty predator, with an impressive 60-inch wingspan and talons capable of crushing prey with 28 pounds of force per square inch.
- She currently resides in the Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown, Pennsylvania, where she also is a wildlife conservation teacher.
- Stella is in the possession of the Elmwood Park Zoo by the authority of U.S. Fish and Wildlife.
- Stella originally hails from Washington state.
- Her favorite foods include rodents, rabbits and snakes.
