The History MA program is primarily dedicated to producing well-trained historians who aspire to earn a postgraduate degree;聽seek to teach in primary and secondary schools;聽and work in public history institutions, including archives, historical parks, government agencies and museums.
Graduates of the History MA program work at numerous colleges and universities in tenured and tenure-track positions, as historians for federal and state governments, in museums, university presses, and as university administrators.
