Simulation Lab
The Nursing Resource Center at 51动漫鈥檚 Health Sciences Center campus is a simulation-based learning environment that utilizes state-of-the-art technology to replicate clinical practice in a safe environment. Nursing students will be able to develop their critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills by participating聽in real-life situations in a controlled simulated setting with guidance from faculty.
You will experience high-quality simulation based learning throughout your nursing education. You will also聽participate in a variety of patient and community scenarios that increase in complexity聽as your nursing knowledge and skill聽grows.
Clinical Rotations
BSN students complete 973聽hours of聽clinical, direct care, lab, simulation and field experience in community聽and hospital聽settings.
Clinical rotations include medical-surgical nursing, critical care nursing, psychiatric nursing, obstetrical nursing and pediatric nursing. During the last semester of the program, students will complete a precepted聽internship experience, which involves one-on-one mentoring by a nurse聽in a care delivery setting of the student鈥檚 choice. Our clinical partners include some of the best healthcare facilities in Philadelphia.
